We don’t. As we are all members of the WWWur family, we trust you. Our goal is to show the impact that people of WUR have in this world. We want to visualise this by virtually cycling around the world.

And 40,000 km is not that far really. If 1000 people ride 10 km a week between September 15 and October 15, that’s already one lap!

We are organising a grand start on September 15th, but you are invited to be creative and get active with friends, family or colleagues. If you send us an e-mail, we will add your W.O.W. event to our event calendar, and – if you want – others may join in.

How about organising a reunion of your student association on bike? Or taking a bike trip to an interesting project? In this way you contribute to W.O.W. and get professional inspiration at the same time.

No, it’s entirely up to you. You are also welcome to dedicate the kilometres you travel for work, leisure or sport to W.O.W.

But, of course, it would be fun to round up a team of colleagues or friends and go cycling together.

Yes you can. You can even use an electric bicycle. However, you are not allowed to travel by motorised vehicle such as train, motorcycle or car.

We know how dedicated people of WUR are to their work, and we would love to make visible how our global network embraces our world.
